Our History
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, originally known as the Boys Club,
began in 1892.  Clubs were exclusively for boys until the mid 1980s.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Clermont County were established in 1996 in New
Richmond, Ohio.  Since that time Club membership has expanded to serve
youth from other Clermont County communities.

In New Richmond, the Club serves 324 members, plus an additional 2500
children each year, with an average daily attendance of 40.  The Club is open
20 hours per week, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. after school. For the summer, the
Club provides service from 12 P.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday. During
the summer, the Club provides a daily hot lunch for every young person who
attends.

On October 1st, 2011 our first stand alone facility which is also located in
New Richmond,  "The Club" Teen Center was dedicated and is open to all
Clermont County teens ages 13-18.  At The Club, teens will have the
opportunity to engage in various activities and programs, in a fun
atmosphere, guided by a caring professional staff.

The Felicity Cardinal Club was opened in September of 2008. This Club
served a total of 263 Club members in 2009, with 141 other youth served in
outreach programs. The Felicity Cardinal Club is located in the Felicity-
Franklin School building, where young people can easily access it after
school. Club hours are 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. during the school year, and noon to
5:00 p.m. for the summer. A daily hot lunch is served by the Felicity Franklin
Schools to all kids coming to the Club during the summer months.
