The 14th annual Scott McDowell Memorial Run
Runners and walkers of all ages enjoy the scenic view of the Ohio River
as the course takes them down historic Front Street. The race course is
“flat and fast” and has age divisions for youth and adults.
The whole community helps make this event fun and memorable.
Local businesses such as and Curves and Snappy Tomato donate items
for door prizes; Rivertown IGA contributes water and items for breakfast.
The New Richmond Police, Fire and EMS Departments and the
Village Street Department helps with barricades to control traffic
and man water stops. Volunteers from all over the county help to register runners,
set-up and serve breakfast and monitor the course.
