The Scott McDowell Memorial 5K Run

The 12th annual Scott McDowell Memorial Run
Runners and walkers of all ages enjoy the scenic view of the Ohio River as the course takes them down historic
Front Street and past many of our local businesses.
The whole community helps make this event fun and memorable. Local sponsors such as New Richmond Auto
Sales and the Ice House donate door prizes and join with the Presenting Sponsor Paycor, E. C. Nurre Funeral
Home, Keating Meuthing & Kleekamp to help cover the costs.
The New Richmond Fire and EMS and the Landing are on hand to distribute water. The New Richmond Police
Department and the Village Street Department help with barricades to control traffic. And people from all over the
district help monitor the course.
